Shopping Trips and Other Transportation Help

There are people from the
Briarwood community who have transportation will volunteer to
take of internationals for shopping and other errands. We partner
with I-House to take internationals to Wal-Mart for grocery shopping
every other Tuesday. Please sign up with I-House to get a ride. For
other errands you may contact us directly. |

We help with transportation between UAB and
the Birmingham airport when needed. |

We help with moving
transportation for internationals who need to move furniture, etc.
We may also be able to help you to get some furniture. See wish list
below. |

Purchasing a Car
|
| If you need help in the
process of purchasing a car locally, feel free to contact us for
advice. It is possible one of us could even go with you to shop for,
or close the sale of a car. |

Outreach is here to help meet any needs you might have during your
stay in the US. This part of the site is dedicated to meeting any
needs you might have for items such as couches, tables, chairs, or
whatever else you might need. Just list item(s) that you might need
and we will see what we can do to help you get them at little or no
